Youtube and streaming service creators each talk in different volumes, pitchs, tones, that will produce a different wave, in the editing of a video/episode, they try to equalize it so the sounds don't feel out of place, but if the objective is every media possible, that becomes significantly harder (but not impossiblle)

You have to fiddle with all three sliders for each YouTube video. Otherwise it works as expected, but for now I am using a different extension which isn't so needy for attention.

Amazing if you're considering it, give it a try it's really good. if you just want to make sounds louder, use the "amplify" slider. another side note is that sound has to be individually adjusted for each tab, but if you're just on YouTube, it's perfect.
