all the solutions online say something about Microsoft Family - but I'm not in a Microsoft Family, I don't understand what the issue is and I don't know how to fix it and I don't want to have to go back to Chrome. what do I do???

I recommend you keep on logged out of opera sync, but this on the other hand forces another problem which is the constant reseting of settings.

Tried again, the same thing. Just pops up a menu for a second and then closes immediately. I've done everything I could. Reinstalling, checking for viruses did not help. This has been going on for almost a week. Who can help?
