Goto the URL opera://settings/passwords and make sure "Offer to save passwords" is off.

Also, at the URL opera://extensions, make sure the extension is set to run on search result pages (to make sure it's not disabled on any search engines you want to save and use login data for).

There's a good chance it will, but no guarantees. They don't officially support Opera though.
