After the lastest update today, my tabs, that are in the background are not active anymore. Only when I switch to it does it go back to active, unlike before this update, and opera gx, at the time of writing remains normal. I am viewing live gaming stream sites, which has a timer on them. After I updated today, the active (visible) timer runs, but the other tabs, the timer does not run anymore. What was changed and is there an option to revert back to previous settings? Or any addons I can overcome this? Is this like an aggressive energy/power saver?

PS. This was also evident with the latest google update, as well as edge.

You let the sound from the video on the page, you mute the tab from the tab itself in Opera.
It's muted but keeps on playing the video.

For information. Got the same problem from today. Seems to be a new way to deal with muted/out focus tabs. When I mute a video and go to another tab, the video stops. When I unmute it, it's playing when I go to another tab.
Can't find a way to stop that for the moment.

If so yes, Its been off. just suddenly this update (95.0.4635.37)... I tried looking at the changelogs but it didnt give a clue. I only suspect its a more aggressive power saver.

Forgot to mention, Im using windows 10
