Go to the extensions manager to accept the upgrade."  This poorly designed message does not say which extension requires additional permissions.  I cannot keep this annoying banner from coming up. I have even uninstalled or disabled every extension to no avail. Anybody have any ideas?</p>

I've upgraded once, but the frequency is annoying.  There is no way to remove or disable Wallet when I click on the extension.<br />
I use Opera to avoid interruptions to my work.  How can I get rid of this annoyance?</p>

Doesn't matter if there's an update or not, check anyway. Then, restart Opera.</p>
<p dir="auto">If still no help, goto the URL <code>opera://extensions</code>, turn on developer mode, and click the update button at the top.</p>
<p dir="auto">If still no go, goto the URL <code>opera://about</code>, take note of the "install" path, and close Opera.</p>
<p dir="auto">Then, open up a command prompt and run:</p>
<pre><code>"C:\Program Files\Opera\launcher.exe" --show-component-extension-options
</code></pre>
<p dir="auto">(adjust the path to your launcher.exe)</p>
<p dir="auto">When Opera starts up, goto the URL <code>opera://extensions</code>, turn on developer mode and click "update" again. Then, scroll down the <code>opera://extensions</code> page and see if there's an update button for any extension you see.</p>
<p dir="auto">Besides that, goto the URL <code>opera://components</code> and try to update each component.</p>
<p dir="auto">If all else fails, just uninstall Opera (don't choose to delete your data when uninstalling) and reinstall.</p>
