Windows 10 Pro N Version: 22H2 Compilation: 10.0.19045

Opera Android version: 72.3.3767.68685
Android 7

I had the same problem, and more... my phone was not able to read the QR Code shown by WhatsApp!
After a long time looking for a solution, I found in this forum, one that partially solved the problem.

Resolution:

I completely uninstalled the windows version - all folders and files related to the Opera installation.

Installed from scratch version: 89.0.4447.91 from: https://get.opera.com/ftp/pub/opera/desktop/89.0.4447.91/win/

With this version (89.xxxx), everything worked, My Flow and WhatsApp!

Then, after Opera autoupdate to the version mentioned above, the problem related to WhatsApp came back - The phone can't is unable to read the QR Code!

As for My Flow, I don't even dare to turn it off and try to turn it back on... but, it is working!

So, I think these problems started with versions: 9x.x.xxxx.xxx.
I'm hoping that the Opera team will be able to fix these problems...

I had the same issue. The instruction that your mobile browser says to go to opera.com/connect is incorrect.

Instead click on the "Flow" icon in your desktop sidebar and sync your device that way. That's how I got it working.

Kinda weird nobody's answered this in 16 days.

Well, hope someone finds this when googling sync issues and latest version complaints.
