Windows 11 destroyed my old laptop, so I switched to Apple Mac.

Sync didn't work at first, so I deleted all bookmarks and cleared all of my history on the Mac. Turned Sync back on and N and now Opera all of the bookmarks from the Mac Trash folder were moved to my Android but nothing synced from Android to Mac, which is what I wanted.

Opera Sync is not a feature, it's a wish un-granted.

It does show the question re: key synchronization password and if I need to reset it - not sure if I ever set that up? Nothing is asking me to enter it though.

Do I need to have the same sync parameters setup on my new laptop?

I signed in to my opera account on my old laptop and setup the items I want to sync. Appears to have been saved.

Went to my new laptop and signed into my opera account. Nothing there. Nothing to indicate a transfer is occurring.
