It's accessing port 443 and the traffic is outbound.

My Malware-Bytes also occasional blocks IP address 77.111.247.223 (same port and same outbound) but it gives the reason as "Website blocked due to compromised".

Both IP s are associated with the "Opera" exe.
Is this normal for the Opera browser and does it (Opera) pose a risk to my Comuter?

Oh, okay and thank you for the link to read up on this issue. It's kind of strange however because the day before yesterday, the Malware-bytes notification when using the VPN popped up every 5 minutes like clock work - however, yesterday the Malware-bytes didn't give the notification once when using the VPN for several hours (streaming a sports event).
Seems a lot depends on the mood my Malware-bytes is in on any given day.
I much appreciate your and "leocg"'s replies.
