<![CDATA[What does the flashing red dot mean?]]>I was concerned that DisneyPlus was recording my audio/video by a flashing red dot on that particular tab that would only go away when restarting the tab, before coming back after 5 minutes.

Why is the design of the 'unread notification' on Opera GX very similar to the 'recording audio/video warning' on Chrome?

Surely this would just serve to make people worried?

It's a flashing red dot over the page's favicon.
Does this happen only with Opera? Can this be reproduced with a public Disney+ page? I tried the home page and it doesn't happen.

I remember that in the past there could be a dot in the tab to indicate that there was an update on the page, but it's been a while that I don't see it.
