How to get rid of this?  I see nothing in Opera Mail Preferences.</p>

Thank you very much.  The background color is the background Windows color (if its been changed from white).  I wonder how to control it though (independently).  Not many people want the glare of a white background but you have to be very careful because your non-bold fonts get very low in contrast with a gray background. Even a very light gray works well though.</p>

<p dir="auto">In recent versions of Windows your user settings directory is hidden by default, but if you copy and paste the full path into your editor's Open dialog it will open properly.</p>

I believe one was gray bars instead of blue. Can't see the difference currently.</p>

<p dir="auto">If the whole setting line is missing, it means the user never changed the setting and the default of 0 is used, which is alternating I think.</p>
<p dir="auto">If the setting is present, it means the user changed the setting at some point.</p>
<p dir="auto">I think 2 turns it off. I forget what 1  does.</p>
<p dir="auto">You can <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/m2tips/add_opera_config/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">add opera:config to Opera Mail</a> if you want to change it from the UI instead.</p>

I remember the name, Row List Color Mode, but I'll need to see where it needs to go in the file operaprefs.ini</p>
