I use it to connect to a virtual dumb terminal that's hosted on an internal website. I've been able to customize most of Opera's shortcut keys here: opera://settings/keyboardShortcuts

However, Ctrl + V (used for pasting from the clipboard) seems to be baked into Opera and I cannot change it or disable it. I need Ctrl + V to be passed through to the emulated dumb terminal and not intercepted by the browser. Is there any way to accomplish this?

Each program must have control over it.

I did find that older versions of FireFox can disable Ctrl + V if used with an extension called Keybinder, unfortunately old FireFox has other issues. So far Opera works perfectly, except for Ctrl + V

Maybe you will need a software that disables it in the OS.
