I'm sure there was a recent update that effed things up........and it sucks cuz apparently there had been issues about this in 2019 that were fixed in an update lol someone from opera please fix this glitch. I'd really rather not have to use my smart-tv solely for netflix use, as I tend to multitask while playing netflix content. <ul>

<p dir="auto">Menu -&gt; Extensions -&gt; Extensions and disable any extensions you installed to see if one is the culprit.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">If you have Opera's VPN turned on, try it with it off.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">If you have Opera's adblocker and tracking protection turned on, you can click the icon in the address field when on <a href="http://netflix.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">netflix.com</a> and turn them off for the site to see if that helps.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">Menu -&gt; New private window to see if things work fine there.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p dir="auto">You can test in another browser like <a href="https://vivaldi.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">Vivaldi</a>. to see if it has the problem also. If so, it might be something outside of Opera that's causing the problem like some security/anti-virus software you have.</p>

Turn that back on and restart Opera.</p>
<p dir="auto">Then, Menu -&gt; Settings, scroll down to "privacy and security", click "cookies and other site data", click "see all cookies and site data", type <code>netflix.com</code> in the search-cookies field and click "remove all shown". Then log into Netflix again and try things.</p>

Click "Advanced" and then "Browser" in the left-hand pane. Then, scroll down to the "System" section, turn off hardware acceleration, and restart Opera?</p>

<p dir="auto">Have you tried with hardware acceleration off? Goto the URL <code>opera://settings/system</code>, disable hardware acceleration, restart Opera, and try again. Turn it back on if it doesn't help.</p>
<p dir="auto">You can goto the URL <code>opera://flags/#reduce-user-agent</code>, enable the flag, and restart Opera to see if it helps.</p>
<p dir="auto">You can try in a test <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/opera/new_profile" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow ugc">standalone installation</a> to see if it works there. If so, that'll tell you there's something not right with your normal Opera (extension, setting, adblocker or corrupted profile etc.).</p>
