I do not, and have never used Google docs. What's happening here? How to fix it? I don't see any options in preferences that might fix it.</p>

The extension tries to show documents in Google Docs Viewer (as stated at the very bottom of its description).<br />
Unfortunately, this only works with documents that are freely accessible to anyone. Google Docs Viewer doesn't have the rights to access your email attachments. That's why it fails to display it.</p>
