<![CDATA[Silent Uninstall Switch]]>Hi Everyone,

as someone already brought to attention, the silent uninstall stopped working a while ago (https://forums.opera.com/topic/52484/solved-silent-uninstall-is-no-longer-working). Has there been any updates to this?

For our business and software-deployment, the option to silently uninstall any give program is essential. Will this feature be added again, or is it maybe already added again as a different switch?

Is this same for opera gx - a number of our users have installed and now needs removing.
It will now be blocked , same for opera if uninstall is not an option.

Our multi-campus institution will not be able to support or offer this product as a result of Opera not supporting silent uninstall parameters. Modern enterprise deployment methods require these features. Not being able to reach clients in the private, public, and academic sectors is the implication of this decision.

I don´t think there is anything new on this topic. We just threw ppera out of our deployment and uninstalled it from all Clients.

This will make us recommend other browsers to customers.
