<![CDATA[Opera Mini 7.6.1 for Android]]>Hello All,

we have released a bug fixing update for Opera Mini on Android today. Here's the changelog:

  • Fixed issue when download remains suspended regardless of turning on WIFI
  • Fixed issue when suspended downloads are not resumed when opera is in background
  • Fixed issue where manually resumed download is treated as automatically started
  • Fixed issue with flickering while loading some pages
  • Improved Korean translations
  • Various stability improvements

There is also a known issue on Samsung Galaxy S4 with Android version 4.4.1 where downloads might not be resumed automatically.

The update is now live on Google Play and will be available on our downloads servers soon. Please give it a go and leave some feedback for us, either here or report via our bugtracker in help menu.

But now it does not pop out and start to stream the video online few days ago. It never happened before whenever i click them. I prefer to download than to stream it so what should I do? What would you like to see in 8? Curious cuz last I used Opera (ummm... let's just say "years ago"), there have been tremendous changes in HW, OS's and SW, and they seem to me to be keeping up pretty well.

Just an opinion.

Downgraded to 7.5.5 and it works. So please fix this problem.
It worsk with chrome, firefox, dolphin...but latest opera mini fails

It is now so huge that I cannot concentrate on reading, as webpage text does not fit to the screen. 5.1.22460 had the perfect font size and the perfect line spacing

can you please consider adding more Font size options to opera mini? Small and medium sizes are both too small in the Reflow mode, and Big is too big for a comfortable use. The perfect version was 5.1.22460, but it unfortunately does not run on any Android newer than 4.1
By the way, is it possible to make a 5.1.22460 patch that would let it run on Android 4.2 at least? It runs on 4.1, and there should not be to many differences in API
