<![CDATA[Any way to disable the initial "refresh"?]]>Since a few months ago (and a few updates I guess) Opera always "refreshes" 1-2 sec after start, meaning in that time I type an address and press enter but Opera will delete that and not go to the page, kind of like it refreshed the tab.

Any way to change this?

I have had this happen to me before a few times recently (can't confirm now though). Just can't remember if it was in Chrome or Opera. I think it was in Chrome though. But, in Chrome, I have an extension that replaces the newtab page, so it might be the culprit when it happens.

Microsoft Edge (the older, non-Chromium-based one) used to do this all the time and it was annoying.
