Browser: Opera and Opera GX
Opera GX Version: 82.0.4227.50

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open opera browser
  2. Access https://vscode.dev
  3. Click in Open Folder button
  4. Choose any folder

After step 4 the file editing permission must be requested like image below from Google Chrome

Expected behavior:
Permission for file editing must be requested like occours in Chrome or Edge

Didn't narrow it down more than that, but seems like a bug to me.

Edit: Works in 78.0.4093.231, but not in 79.0.4143.22 and newer.

Opera doesn't generally allow remote sites access to local files or folders.
