<![CDATA[Is there anyway that i can remove a malicious file fron my pc?]]>While i was browings the web, a popup said that opera needed an update and automatically downloaded a file called "Opera.Update.daf5a2.js" and as a complete fool i ran it.

At First nothing happened but on the next pc startup i noticed how everything i tried to run kept telling me that there was no internet connection.

Is there anyway that i can remove this file fron my pc?

1: Disconnect your PC from the Internet.
2: Enter safe mode.
3: Refrain from logging into accounts.
4: Delete temporary files.
5: Check your activity monitor.
6: Run a malware scanner.
7: Fix your web browser.
8: Clear your cache.

So no, the script probably isn't running now.

@yagamiaf Removing the file should be trivial - just delete it. Undoing whatever it did is another question.

But doesn't a javascript still run even after deleting the file? I apologize, I'm not that "informed" on this kind of stuff.
