<p dir="auto">For the sake of the guests who used my computer, I once had to put a passphrase on the Opera GX browser to protect my hundreds of passwords. When the guests left after several days, I wanted to take down the passphrase. There was no particularly easy way to do this, and I finally reset it from my Opera Account. After that, all my 414 passwords were lost from my Opera Account. I thought there was no problem, because Opera GX and Opera Stable browsers advertise that synchronization works in every situation. However, I had all the passwords in the Opera GX browser. Opera GX and Opera Stable browsers show me that they sync perfectly. I've been trying to get my passwords back to Opera Account for several weeks now, but it doesn't seem to work at all. There is also some kind of Opera Sync Internals that I don't understand, but Internals also shows that I still have passwords somewhere on the vague Opera server. I myself use the latest version of Opera GX LVL 3 (core: 82.0.4227.50) and Opera Stable version 83.0.4254.19. As an operating system, I have 64-bit Windows 11, and I have the latest major version: 21H2, and a consolidated version: 22000.438. The screenshots show my situation.
