This is the first time that I have a non-rooted device (because people rooting their phone are cheaters, bankrobbers and media pirates according to many app publishers and they refuse app usage on rooted devices) and now I have > 100 open tabs and had to notice that opera does not allow adb backup.

I would really prefer not to use any cloud service like google drive, as I don't want any hoster to know my open tabs.

There you can backup bookmarks and tab history if you have synchronized with the same Opera account, optional are password sync to. You can only backup bookmarks outside, but synchronized tabs can be opened and continued, passwords I don't know.
