If you add new sear it can only be used if you use keyword before search input. So again one less option. Damn man I just find more and more reasons to dislike this version. I'll just try to fix opera 12, i was satisfied with it only lately it opens pages very slowly and doesn't work good with some.

then what for is manage search engine in settings? That rigth upper search is for looking trough speed dial windows, and default one is not changeable. In opera 12 it was possible to change search engines so I had 2 different.

It's for adding/removing/editing custom searches.

You can change the default search but you need to choose one of the pre-defined ones.

Opera is really trying to find solutions click and play so You don't need to think much but it limits some options that way, for ppl that doesn't bother to think 😃

address bar DOWN is most important if u ask me.

They weren't killed. Some just wasn't implemented on new Opera yet. Some may not come back.
