<![CDATA[Solution For Slow Tab Switching]]>I found that if I disable "Show tab previews" under "User interface" in Settings clears up the slow tab opening and switching, I am using windows 7. My assumption is that Opera takes a little pause (especially when many tabs are opened) to fetch the visual preview before opening/switching to the tab you are switching to.

Just my observation, with that tab preview turned off, the tabs appear lickety split.
