I have a few suggestions about 2-step security verification.

First of all, it should not be possible to change the e-mail address we log into our Opera account. If the account falls into the hands of someone else, we feel safe to reset the password. In other words, if someone malicious changes their e-mail address, the account is completely in the hands of that person.

For 2-Step security verification, e-mail option should be used instead of 3rd party applications. TeamViewer does this thing. It asks for email and password. If the information is correct, an e-mail with a link is sent to the user. The user clicks on the link and it is understood that the computer is reliable.

Good work everyone.
