But once upgraded to Windows 11, Opera keep freezing. And often get out of memory error as well. Running Microsoft Edge with twice the number of tabs does not have any issue and is much faster as well.</p>
<p dir="auto">I wonder is there any compatibility issue with Windows 11? Or Microsoft intentionally sabotage Opera to frustrate its users to switchover? I will be forced to run Edge as my default browser for now until Opera resolve this.</p>

I dont have freezing for now but I do have some out of memory errors from time to time.<br />
The pc is running w/ 64GB of ram so...should not be an issue there. I'm on Opera 82.0.4227.23. There was an update avail' that I just downloaded (version num kept the same for some reason), 'will let u know if I still got the oom errors as well.</p>

All the versions after that for me and some other users have caused all sorts of memory usage issues and cpu usage issues.</p>
