<![CDATA[Unable to import bookmarks from Opera from another HD]]>Hi there. So I'm in the process of transferring files from an old HD to a new one. I found how to import bookmarks using an .html file, but it doesn't appear to be working.

What I've tried:

  • Copied 2 files from old HD to new: Bookmarks and BookmarksExtra, located in C:\Users\Name\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable
  • These 2 files don't seem to have an extension assigned to them, so I added .html to each one, since the import section in Opera requires an HTML file

The Opera import accepts them and the checkmark turns blue, but they don't load. When I do open them as an HTML or txt I do see the bookmarks in text form, so I'm unsure what to do.

If you want to use the import tool, first you need to export your bookmars in the old computer.
