so if tried a lot of things (hardware acceleration an/off , disabling extensions , resetting the setting/flags , tried it with a fresh installation event tried it with the normal opera also as a fresh installation ) like everything you first think of but my connection speed is always extremly low sometimes so low that youtube take a coffee brake to buffer at 1080p .
if i try the same video at the same time on chrome i get like 40 times the connection speed.
anybody else having/had this problem and has a solution to it?

so this is basically a copy paste from the gx forum because nobody answered but its the same problem

And the fact that you got a higher speed when using the VPN shows nothing because you were not connected to the same server. So it could have been just a coincidence.
Or, maybe, the VPM made YouTube think that you were in somewhere where prioritizing traffic wasn't necessary.

gone from barely able to play 1080p @60fps to 4k is no problem

so what do we learn from this ? that google gives the finger to german opera users? this just makes no sense...
