<![CDATA[[Solved] Opera GX desktop and mobile sync]]>Hello,

I have started using Opera GX recently before that I was using Chrome. I like the Opera GX browser with all the features. And I have downloaded Opera GX on my Android phone. However, I find the synchronization topic a little frustrating.

Can someone please explain how all of this works? I can't find anywhere on my phone a bookmarks button. Also is there any way to sync somewhere all of your information for cases when I want reinstall the browser or my laptop or to log in from some other computer.

Example is like when you log in with your google account elsewhere all of your history, bookmarks, passwords is there.

That when I log in into my Opera account, nothing exactly is happening. It's like I have logged in some website where it gives me the permission to write in forums.

That is my main issue and I am trying to figure out what I have been doing wrong from yesterday.

If you really want to use the QR code, go to www.opera.com/connect on Opera GX for desktops and use Opera for Android to scan the QR.

In that case I can't even use GX on my laptop and regular Opera on my phone? I mean technically I can but it's not synced at all, right?

Also the regular Opera doesn't have the option to save your information in some sort of account as I have mentioned Google's option?
