<![CDATA[Extension changes get deleted after I restart Opera]]>Any extension changes I do revert after I restart Opera. I can delete extensions, close Opera, check the folder "C:\Users***\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Extensions" to verify them being deleted, then open Opera again and everything resets, files literally appear from thin air.
I reinstalled it 20 times (3 latest different versions as well), I forced "Read-only" on the whole extension folder to try and preserve changes, nothing helps. Now with a clean install I can't use any extensions because they just get deleted next time I start (not close) Opera. The files just disappear as soon as I open it again - but not before that.

What the f... is this? How do I fix this.

Solved. I was reinstalling Opera and foolishly believed that "clear user settings" would actually clear user settings. I had to manually delete the whole Appdata Opera folder to force it to create an actually fresh install. After that, it stopped this ridiculous behaviour, which I still don't know the reason for.

(Don't enable Opera Sync in it.)
