<![CDATA[Android Opera Link Authentication Failed during data sync]]>Opera Link Authentication Failed during data sync with Opera Classic for android. Yes I still use Opera classic on my Samsung galaxy note 3 as I did not like the new UI and the removal of some options like single column view when I read online stories or fanfiction. I can log in using a desktop just fine even while using firefox. Opera link was working fine on my note 3 until this morning.

Events

  1. opera link stalls during sync (sync in progress icon green with 2 arrows stays on top right of browser)
  2. Turned off opera link
  3. Turned on opera link and logged in
  4. Opera message dialog (Synchronizing your data)
  5. Opera message dialog (Authentication failed)
  6. Hit OK

Also via Wi-Fi or transparent proxy a desktop UA must be set.
