I have given up. The inability to allow a home page with Opera Android Mobile is the last straw. So I'm deleting Opera and going back to the Brave Browser. I am not real thrilled about the Brave browser, which is why I tried Opera in the first place. If the folks at Opera decide to allow us users to control the browsers look and actions, like every other browser out there, I will give it another try
