<![CDATA[Bookmarking in categories in Opera 18]]>I am very grateful for the many years of an excellent FREE browser,Opera..It has been far more satisfactory to me,than other browsers,for several reasons. The main reasons being; The freedom to choose,instead of being inundated with commercialism.The ability to categorize and selectively file bookmarks was excellent to # 12.I always hoped for color coding of file headers as an option. I finally discovered how to actually have my bookmarks from opera 12,in 18.I can't seem to discover how to file them under file/category headings,as I bookmark them.

You can open the folder in the bookmarks bar and select the option to add a bookmark there, this will bookmark the current page in that folder.
You can drag and drop the bookmarks into the folders you want.

In the latest Opera testing builds (Opera 20) I'm able to drag a tab (or grab that little symbol in the left side of the address field) and drop directly into the folder you want in the bookmarks bar.

(to the folder).
