<p dir="auto">What is the best way to get rid of this storage ?</p>
<p dir="auto">How can I unregister the Service Workers ?</p>
<p dir="auto">How can I delete/clear the Service Worker Cache ?</p>
<p dir="auto">How can I delete/clear the Local Storage Cache ?</p>

They use sometimes a lot of RAM, HD space, CPU.<br />
I block them all and allow them if a site does not run without it.<br />
These workers can be disabled at several places.</p>
<p dir="auto">Here are my workarounds against the Service Worker "Overload":</p>

<li>C:\Users\Your Profilename\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Service Worker</li>
<li>opera:serviceworker-internals</li>
<li>Opera developer tools</li>

<li>opera://flags</li>

<p dir="auto">You can delete them like you do with any directory or file in your computer but the directory will be recreated and start being populated as soon as needed.</p>
<p dir="auto">opera://serviceworker-internals/ should show you the service workers running</p>
