Steps to (try to) reproduce the issue

  1. CTRL+SHIFT+B

  2. Browse any nested hierarchy of bookmark folders

Expected behavior and actual one

Breadcrumb path separators should look like right-pointing chevrons (i.e., "arrows", "angle brackets")

Instead, they render as a ‰ character sequence

Additional observations

  • Web pages in UTF-8 encoding are displayed properly

  • The locale command returns the following:
