<![CDATA[Default Speed Dial Thumbnails]]>I accidentally changed my YouTube speed dial bookmark icon while playing around with bookmarks. When I try to change it back, all I get is the original YouTube icon, and the latest YouTube icon. The Opera GX custom version is missing and I don't know how to get it back. Help...?

It only works for non-default ones. But, if you want to change a default one, move it to the trash, goto the URL opera://bookmarks, empty the trash, and then add the site as a speed dial yourself. That one you'll be able to edit.

If you need a default thumbnail that Opera no longer uses, some of them are available here.

Then, goto the URL opera://about, take note of the "profile" path, close Opera, and delete the "Bookmarks" and "BookmarksExtras" files in the profile folder.

That will restore things to default. Then, you can goto the URL opera://settings/importData, choose "Bookmarks HTML File" in the drop-down and import your bookmarks. Then, at the URL opera://bookmarks, you can move the imported bookmarks to the right place, but skip the imported speed dials as they will be already restored to default.

Then, in the install folder, in the latest version folder, in the "resources" folder, open partner_speeddials.json.

You can open the file in a text editor or in JSONedit in tree mode. Whatever is easier for you.
