<![CDATA[Opera GX not responding, unable to open/close/uninstall/restart-system]]>Yesterday, I tried to open Opera but it wouldn't open and it gave me the "Application Not Responding" message (I'm on a mac), so I tried to Force Quit but it wouldn't do anything (I tried Force Quitting using the shortcut Cmd+Q, Force Quitting by right-clicking the application and selecting Force Quit, as well as Force Quitting manually using the Force Quit applications tab on the mac taskbar, none of those ways worked, and the application is still open).

I then tried to shut-down/restart my mac (not just put it to sleep), but it wouldn't do either (likely because it can't close opera gx, but no error message was given, it just won't shut down).

Finally, I tried to uninstall Opera with hopes of reinstalling it, however, it won't uninstall, displaying the message " The item 'Opera GX' can’t be moved to the Trash because it’s open.".

At this point, I don't really know what else I can do. Any help would be much appreciated!

All you have to do is press on the opera icon on the complete top left of your tab click on it and find the quit button in the options prior to clicking on the icon

I don't know if you still have the same issue still, but if you do, going to Settings and turning off and on any of the permissions of Opera GX works.
