so i believe or hope you all know the live preview window of the taskbar that will or should show you a live version of the window either in small version or in real size when hovering over it. Well now that somehow stopped working for Opera GX.
Sorry, i didn't catch when that problem started but from the text below it should be evident that there is a problem with the browser.

I tested it with Youtube and a few other Video playing sites as well as other changing elements on websites such as ads and other programs such as PowerDVD 20. In my test only Opera GX seems to hinder Windows10 on showing that live feed. Videos are black and animated ads turn into a standstill image.
There's only one set up that makes Opera GX and the live preview work for me and that is when i have the window with the video or ad open in the foreground already but then i hardly need the live preview right.
Live preview works on chrome, just checked that.
It did work before so maybe someone else has had that same problem and knows how to fix it or knows what the problem is so that Opera can fix this from their side. I deactivated the energy saver option hoping that would fix it (and i don't need it anyway) but it didn't. I didn't see any other setting that seemed like it would meddle with the live preview.

The problem is fixed in Opera Developer (maybe Opera Beta too). Once that code reaches stable and then reaches Opera GX, the problem should be fixed.

That's great to hear! If i may ask, do you also happen to know what caused that? Aside from that, this topic is solved i think.
