<![CDATA[in 2-5 minutes the browser hangs]]>when I start the browser(opera and opera gx) , after 2-5 minutes it freezes. Rescues restarting the laptop for a while, but then it also starts to freeze.

You should make sure that all of the files are backed up or on a flash drive.

Sometimes computers tend to do that. For example, my old computer had a few problems after a couple of years of usage, I reset it and voila!

I had this problem a lot with my old computer, and I was using 4GB of RAM. This didn't just happen with Opera, it happened with Chrome and Firefox.

On lower machines, Opera doesn't always run the best. In my experience, the new Microsoft Edge seems to be good for memory, as well as the Brave browser.

Turning HA off fix it. But it worked fine before the update.

As soon as Opera starts, goto the URL opera://settings/system, disable "hardware acceleration" and restart Opera. See if Opera still hangs then.

It does not freeze for hours until I open such a web page (for example it does not freeze here).
