I download files. And at times the connection is broken because I close my laptop or I travel outside a wifi range. When this happens, my downloads stop downloading. Is there a way to resume the downloading in Opera after a connection resumes like a download manager?</p>

Opera 12.16 can and does resume if the server supports resuming. In the downloads window there is a button above, its either "restart" or "resume".</p>
