You are talking about playing video in one tab while surfing in another tab or you are talking about playing a video while in a different app?

Not sure about the first situation but the second one can only officially happen if you use YouTube Premium.

And for YouTube music mobile site, it doesn't open only shows a black page. I have recorded 2 videos to prove my point.

I was able to open a new tab while keeping listening to the sound from SoundCloud.

I was also able to use another app while listen to sound in Opera.

It is the latest version and the app looks very heavy like a chrome browser and as soon as you leave the browser, it crashes. I did get any of these experiences in previous versions, from 60 (55.692) I am not feeling the lightness that I felt before.

I still cant play any video or music or anything in the background or leaving one tab for another in opera browser android.

And I am talking about android browser versions. I don't know whether you guys test or ask users to give feedback via within the app but I can't see popup or background audio playing happen. While brave and bromite it is very easily happening. If I change the tabs with one playing the audio while another of the news site then it stops playing within the browser itself and when you leave the browser it stops fully. I really want to update my review on play store please help me with this. Plus the newer versions of opera are crashing if you leave the browser to attend something else like a call or a message. Thanks. Would be waiting for a positive reply.

And what do you mean by background audio playing? If you mean to listen to something in Opera while using another app, it's already possible. You may just need to give permission to Opera to do that.
