Here on Linux for example, when the option "Use bigger tiles" is disabled under opera:settings/startPage, the Opera displays six tiles in one row for me. Perhaps you have changed the HiDPI settings under your OS, or it has something to do with "DNA-89654 Request higher resolution images for HiDPI" in your case, but this one is added in version 74.0.3870.0.

Thanks my friend. Yes, the switch had indeed auto enabled after the fact even though I previously checked - have disabled that switch.
Interestingly, when setting to max 6 columns thereafter, the most I can get is 5 columns - unless reducing zoom.
Again, this does not occur in beta or Stable. So I wonder if devs have changed the sizing of SD's in this dev update, even though mine are set to small.

Thanks for the heads up with SD pic which I've yet to look at.

Sometimes some settings and/or flags can be changed "auto-magically" during updating to a newer version.

On changing the SD item picture, perhaps you launch the Opera with the switch --disable-reading-from-canvas, and if so remove it and you should be fine.

Hi my friends. Does anyone else have this issue with Opr dev?

On Opr 74...3890 I had six columns on speeddial page and all was functioning.

After updating to Opr 74...3897 it auto-adjusted to four columns. The change number of columns in sett's didn't appear to work. My sett's are set for smaller speeddials.

**Only Way ** I get six columns or more on saved speeddial page is via Opera icon top left, and reducing zoom to 90% or more.

Using Win7, 32-bit, Opr 74...3897 in dark mode, started in private mode from shortcut for this post.

Note for devs: this issue has not previously happened.
Also note: The issue does not happen on beta or Stable.

Additional edit: Opr 74...3897 will not allow change of speeddial picture from the heart icon

Known issue: in the Player feature in the Sidebar, normally the audio is paused, when a tab plays its own audio, after that the audio resumes automatically. Currently, when the audio in a tab is muted, the Player doesn't resume. This should be fixed soon.
