<![CDATA[Opera stable 72 - news]]>The Opera - 72.0.3815.148 has been promoted to the stable channel ;-)
This build is based on an older Chromium version (86.0.4240.80), but it also includes important security fix for CVE-2020-15999 - you can find more details here. The change log.

New Opera's flags - enabled by default (ready to use):
- #search-tabs-sort-relevance
Sort Search Tabs results by relevance.

- #unified-popups
Enables new UI for popups.

and two more flags - disabled (work in progress):
- #search-tabs-close-button
Show a button in Search Tabs to allow closing tabs.

- #views-addressfield
Replace native address field with Views control on Mac.
 
Removed flags: #search-in-closed-tabs and #search-text-in-tabs.
 
Chromium is updated to version 86.0.4240.80.

At the limite can it be a problem with the settings in my box ? Firewall etc
For some advices it is a problem with this website which could have forgotten to set Opera or browsers like it, in its rules (?) is this possible ?

What if you launch the Opera with the switch `--disable-extensions", does it help? If so, it's an extension which is causing the issue.

Please don't feel offended in any way, but perhaps you connect to the Internet thru some proxy server in your LAN without being aware of it?
Can you make sure your current IP address is within the range of your ISP?

Also, make sure that Opera's VPN service isn't enabled, when you try to watch the video streams on the website.

No, I have only the Savefromnet Helper extension and very recently the Session Buddy extension. The hardware acceleration was always disabled, and I disable all VPN for it

I have not the Mint Codecs installed though and since I installed the chromium FFMpeg it seems it causes VLC to crash the system (not sure)

If none of the above helps, you can try to disable opera:flags#enable-accelerated-video-decode, restart the browser and see if this changes anything.

They pretend though to display html5 as much as Flash

It includes a new Player feature, to keep your favorite streaming services always at hand. It lets you log into Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music, directly from the browser’s Sidebar.
