<![CDATA[Opera 23 and Next 24 Installers crash on XP]]>Regardless of whether I choose the small downloader or the offline full versions.
The crash occurs as soon as the file extraction completes.

However, I have the same issue with 23 and 24. XP SP2, Athlon XP 2000+, 1.25 GHz, 1 GB of RAM. This is from the Dr. Watson report (the periods replace spaces for formatting).

........Exception number: c000001d (illegal instruction)

This is not a crucial matter, since that "other" browser runs very well on this 2002-vintage box when 12.16 isn't being cooperative.
