I install an extension and it doesn't show in the upper right corner like other browsers show. I'm pretty sure Opera used to do this. What happened?

There should be an "Extensions" icon at the right of the address bar that you click where you get an option to pin the extension to always show it.

@rpsweb It sure seems odd as many extensions need you to access them to control stuff. Makes no sense to hide them. Every extension should have the option to be hidden or not. Some are on all the time so never need to be accessed so they can be hidden. But others.....you want them there and accessible.

@helloyou2016 You can "pin" the extension so it will always be visible.

@helloyou2016 i could be just a mistake I guess, its odd though, since anyone that uses a browser would know you need to see those icons, I would argue even extensions that have no on and off etc should have an icon appear by default just so people are reminded its there

@rpsweb It was a change made in Chromium that all Chromium-based browsers inherited. It's not even something Opera necessarily agrees with. It just comes from Chromium.
