<![CDATA[Cannot download files from Google Drive]]>Hello, I noticed this week that I cannot download files from Google Drive, which I was doing until last week. It works fine in other browsers, so I assume it is an issue with Opera. I don´t remember changing any setting these last days, can anybody help me with this issue? Thanks in advance

For future reference, at opera://settings/content/automaticDownloads, you want to disable "Ask when a site tries to download files automatically after the first file (recommended)" or add the site in question to the allow list.

Allow multiple downloads and see if it changes anything.

a single file download works , a multiple file download as zip file does not.
"Ublock origin" switched off and second try switched on
really strange
i will reset whole opera, hope my extensions will not be lost

in microsoft edge it works fine

opera tracker blocking disabled

i see no other relevant things in the thread, because they refernce linux

even when 1 file works fine with download, why a zipped one does not work?? from the same directory and url, thats not logically

even enabling third party cookies, google drive comes up with error message that it has no allowance for downloading several files. (google zip them).
download a single file works fine.
whats wrong?
[*.]drive.google.com is added in the cookies exemption settings

I did the following (in my Debian 10 OS): I renamed my "$HOME/.config/opera" directory to "$HOME/.config/opera.bk" then I started Opera. A new clean "$HOME/.config/opera" directory was created and now I can download files and directories. from Google Drive. I'll check later what was wrong in my previous settings (maybe an extension?).

I performed an Opera recovery, but keeping my data. So after a few changes to restore my previous settings, I tried to download a file from Google Drive and it succeeded. Hope that this may help others and the problem wont show up again.

Sadly, it didn´t help to solve the problem. There was no site in the block list.
In my case, when you click the download button for individual files, you can see "Scanning for viruses..." and "Waiting for drive.google.com" messages and then nothing else happens.
And when I try to download the whole folder as a zip file, it works fine, but i need to download also individual files from a folder.

Then, try the download again and approve multiple downloads if asked.

When you click Download in the folder view it doesn't do anything. Didn't change my settings recently, either

Also woks fine in other browsers
