I have a question about Opera GX updates frequency.
I am not a gamer. I am a DevOps. But I loved your browser and it's style and features.
But what I am concerned about is updates of the browser. Especially security updates like closing security holes, updating chromium. In Opera Developer/Bera it happens on a regular base (every week/2).
In Opera GX the last update was more than a month ago.
So when updates of the browser will be often, so I could be sure that the browser that I am using is up to date all security findings and holes?
Thanks!

https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2021/06/stable-channel-update-for-desktop_17.html
It also closes 3 High CVE.
The update the Opera did on 17th is:
LVL 2 (core: 76.0.4017.205) – 2021-06-17
[NEW] O76 Core
How to know if this update had security fixes or not?
Weird system. It is not transparent at all.

Waterfox Classic does the same with the Firefox security updates.

I just really wanted to come back, but I don't understand why so bad attitude to the browser and user security.
Right now the latest version of Opera GX has chromium version 90.0.4430.212.
The latest update was done today by @themaciekk. And what I see in the release notes is [NEW] Twitch extension update
So you are saying that this is more important then updating the chromium of Opera GX to the version 91.0.4472.101 which closed 14 security issues with high CVE(https://chromereleases.googleblog.com/2021/06/stable-channel-update-for-desktop.html). And BTW this version of chrome is there since 9 June!

You must've missed this release from the release notes list:

LVL 2 (core: 75.0.3969.285) – 2021-06-10

[FIX] Chromium security patches

[FIX] YouTube not being reloaded when opened from link

And BTW this version of chrome is there since 9 June!
So it is been more than 10 days with high CVE vulnerabilities in the browser and they were not closed for some reason. I was hoping to see it ASAP, but instead I see twitch extension update. Which is ok, if CVE were also closed.
I just don't understand why the regular Opera did an upgrade and has the latest Chromium with security fixes and do it on regular bases and Opera GX team doesn't?
Can you please explain that attitude to the security of the users in Opera GX browser @themaciekk ?
Thank you very much!

I thought, with all the spotlight given to the GX by the Opera team, that GX would live on to be this glorious novel browser. Throwing a massive first birthday to the browser and then seemingly abandon it for months is just weird, extremely weird.
