<![CDATA[[Solved] Whatsapp in the sidebar lags a lot]]>Hi,
I always used WhatsApp in the Opera GX sidebar and never had any problems. However, some days ago the WhatsApp interface started lagging. This happens only with WhatsApp, not with discord or twitch or any sidebar addons. It is really odd and makes this feature nearly unusable because of this violet lag. Has anyone experienced this? Can you guys help me?

Well, this didn't help, I still encounter lag in WhatsApp even after disabling and reactivating it. I don't have the GX vpn on and it doesn't change either 😞

You need to deactivate it and then reactivate it. It will work fine and will not be lagging anymore. Also, check to disable the VPN. Hope this helps 🙂
