And way back in those days of dialup, there was a button that switched between All Graphics, Cached Graphics Only, and No Graphics.  I loved that then, and would love it again!  One button would kill ALL the JPGs GIFs and PNGs (and videos) on the page and just let me scan the text without distraction.  On phones/tablets even more valuable since it saves data and valuable screen space.</p>
