I recently reinstalled Mac OS X on my computer and wanted to give Opera a try again, since I have fond memories from the early 2000s when using Windows.
Ever since switching to Mac OS X, Opera has always not been up to par for my simple needs.
Now I wanna try again and even downloaded Opera Mini on my iPhone and even enabled OperaLink (later found out not working with newer versions yet - strange).

But I cannot find the fucking STAUS BAR anyway. Is it gone for good now? Or am I just to blind to find it?

Can anyone please shed some light on that, even if I look dumb?

When it comes back it'll certainly appear in the menu instead of a status bar.

Turbo is present in the menu "Opera".

I remember a status bar from version 11 and 12 and even earlier versions, capable of setting Turbo and other stuff.

It is just gone, like the toolbars, I guess that comes with a new code, if I understood that correctly. I will use Safari again for awhile and look at Opera in a year or so again or maybe even in between, I will not throw it in the Trash anyway.

Toolbars also seem to have gone. Is that a feature?

PS: I am using OS X 10.8.5 on a 2009 MBP.
