<![CDATA[Can't set Opera GX as a default browser app.]]>From the options available (using Windows 10), I cannot pick Opera GX as my default browser, regular Opera is there though. Also, it would seem that after reinstalling Opera GX due to privacy reasons, once I got it back, the "old" Opera GX stays as an option to uninstall via Windows but I actually cannot uninstall this one, as it "cannot find the .exe" to do so. What do I do?

Then, close Opera.

Then, uninstall Opera (don't choose to delete your data when uninstalling).

Then, launch the Opera installer, click "options", set "install path" to "C:\Program Files\Opera GX", set "install for" to "all users", uncheck "import data from default browser", check "Make Opera the default browser", adjust any other options, and install.

Then, Opera will show up in Default Programs in Windows and you'll be able to set it as the default browser.

I Just can't find Opera GX on settings, it only has normal opera, chrome edge and fire fox. Not gx thoo,

I can't update or install it now, given it's uninstalled. Every single time I try to install it, it say it's trying to update the app and failing.

Normal Opera works normally (no change there) and Opera GX now won't install itself. The software keeps trying to "update itself." It fails every time I try it.

I can pick from Edge, Explorer and classic Opera or go to the Microsoft store, that's it.
