what is the difference between passphrase and password (I used just one step before)? (I used the same)
And why do I see my actual open tabs, bookmarks etc. on https://www.sync.opera.com/ when I am not in locked in?

this helps! was a little afraid. all online-data where deleted, but logout in android and new login works fine.

so i can reinstall opera to solve my google login-problem...

Used syncing only once, when i moved from one tablet to another (and to backup bookmarks on pc at this time) 1 or 2 years ago.
But i have just changed my password for my opera-account, because they wanted more characters as i used before. (tried old password as passphrase, did not work)

https://www.sync.opera.com offers me:
"Do not remember your key synchronization password (passphrase)? Reset Passphrase."
Maybe this helps. (But i don't want a new one...)

I don't under understand, what you mean with "device passwort".

In opera android, everything is greyed out in the sync-settings. I'm not able able to change anything, Encryption seems not to be active, because around "encryption", everything is blank.
My account has a red exclamation mark. But it syncs.

But opera android still says (for example on my "Schnellwahl"): To continue syncing, type in you passphrase.
So, how can i get rid off passphrase?
